As in the case of Music and Kirtan, Our School assigns great importance to the field of Art and Craft. It has been organizing many art and craft activities internally and externally to keep the traditional Indian art and craft alive among the students who are the future citizens of our nation. BKJ’s Apple Orchard has been celebrating all festivals as major events in which crafts made by our young students are displayed.
Under the modern system of education the computer has become one of the most important parts of student's life. Computer literacy for children is an important beginning, giving them the best tool for their lives and their future careers. It is a medium to access countless pages of information, a place to create reports plus a myriad of other applications. Complementing this vision, our computer club strives to enable young minds to express their creativity through technology.
This is meant to create in our students increased interest in, and love for, the day-to-day scientific achievements of the modern world. This would help to tickle their curiosity to know more about the thrilling and marvellous contributions modern science has offered to humanity. Ultimately, this would help the student to equip himself with the creative mind to eradicate poverty and misery from the face of the earth.
To develop the varied interests and different talents of the pupils we provide ample opportunity through several co-curricular activities. Students are given training in music, painting and other art forms. Besides formal coaching in music and art, they are given opportunity to get involved in artistic, cultural and social activities through various associations and clubs. Participation in one of the co-curricular activities is compulsory. In the continuous and comprehensive evaluation of the students the performance in one or two co-curricular activities will be observed and the grades will be entered in the progress report card/mark transcript.
One of the prime objectives of BKJ’s Apple Orchard is to preserve and nurture our Indian traditional culture. In pursuance of this objective, we impart traditional music and dance skills to the students through this club. Students have displayed their talent in many both internal and external events.
